From the Tel Aviv beach scene to the shores of the Dead Sea, Israel has layers of diverse cultures, outdoor adventures, and religious heritage seated within a desert backdrop.
Bridges for Peace Journeys are a full immersion into all of these. Primarily, while walking in Messiah's footsteps you will receive an understanding of the end times that will leave you with an awakened sense of the ancient sojourners; you will receive a profound revelation of the end of days and His Second Coming,
This year I (Rabbi Felix) felt emphasis should be placed upon visiting the ancient cities, re-examining the ancient paths of understanding, with a deeper exploration of the Torah while being in the context of the land. We have added an additional focus upon ancient Jaffa, Safed, and Tiberius. These will surely be highlights of our journey.
Although Israel was founded as a Jewish homeland, today its religious sites attract as many Christian and Muslim pilgrims as they do Jewish visitors. We will explore the many holy sites within Israel's most important spiritual cities such as Jerusalem, Safed, and Tiberius. We will visit the ancestral home of Peter, see the port where Jonah embarked and the cedars of Lebanon were brought for the building of the Second and Third Temples. We will visit the “venerated” burial place of John the Baptist, the Dead Sea, Masada, Baptism in the waters of the Jordan, the Holocaust Museum, and so much more.
What is different about this trip from our last? The intensification, ancient understanding, and impartation emphasis for the love of the Jewish people and the land of Israel.
While Jerusalem is often a destination for enriching the soul, as they say, you won’t want to miss the mud and waters of Israel’s Dead Sea. Floating on its surface is unforgettable.
Baptism in Jordan River is so spiritually uplifting for each participant. But, extending through testimony an invitation to strangers and onlookers to receive the Lord and be immersed in the Jordan while you are standing in the water is equally unforgettable.
Throughout the trip, the presence of God will be felt as we travel together, eat together, forming spiritual bonds of friendship that deliver a sense of the ancient sojourner in the days of Israelites.
You will understand the Jewish people, their land and culture. You discover the unique bond in the "One New Man" doctrine of family wholeness that Paul spoke of in Ephesians 2 & 3.
This year will be a journey to the High Places, the City of David,
and the land of Biblical history.
